During its first six seasons, the Rochester Boys Choir has performed a wide variety of choral music. Selections have ranged from music by well known classical composers such as J. S. Bach, Handel, and Brahms to contemporary composers like Robert Kapilow, Shafer Mahoney and John Rutter. Through performance opportunities with other orchestral and vocal ensembles, the boys have prepared both octavo and more extended sacred and secular works. Music in foreign languages also play a very important role on the training of all three choir levels. Most recently, boys have enjoyed learning music in Czech, Chinese, German, Italian, Gaelic and French.
